We would like to inform you about the updated information on JobKeeper Payment.
- Extension of JobKeeper Enrolment)
Enrolment due date for the JobKeeper Payment has been extended to 31 May 2020. 31 May 2020 is the final date you can enrol for JobKeeper if you intend to claim for wages paid for JobKeeper fortnights in April and May. Please ensure you have paid your employees for April by 8 May 2020.
Pay your eligible employee a minimum of $1,500 (before tax) for each of JobKeeper fortnights 1 and 2 by 8 May 2020 to be able to claim JobKeeper payments for April.
The first two JobKeeper fortnights in April
- JobKeeper Fortnight 1 – 30 March to 12 April
- JobKeeper Fortnight 2 – 13 April to 26 April
- Jobkeeper Step 2 – Identify eligible employees
Please ensure that you are successfully enrolled and ensure you have linked your Mygovid to your business ABN in ATO.
From 4 May 2020, you need to identify the eligible employees and/or the business participant for who you are claiming the JobKeeper wage subsidy. You are also required to provide your business’s April GST turnover and projected May GST turnover.
The procedure differs based on your business type – Sole Trader, Partnership, Company. Please refer to our email to find out more information.
You have until 31 May to identify your employees for JobKeeper payment.
Each month, you are obligated to make a monthly business declaration:
- Re-confirm your business and employee eligibility.
- Provide your business’s current and projected GST turnover.
